Hi Alexis,
Appreciate your thoughtful response. I'm not sure if you took the time to use the IDE before your comment but it is possible to use other frameworks and languages to develop your applications in Svelte Storm. However, the State Manager is built to pull state objects from .svelte files, so that feature will be redundant if you're using other frameworks. There would be no need to use 2 IDE's if you are using different languages or frameworks.
This product is open source and we are accepting issues and contributions from the community. We built this IDE in the hopeful aspiration for it to become a platform to implement community built Svelte tooling.
The argument to not build an IDE because more developed IDE's already exist wasn't a deterrent for us in our development goals, nor do I think it's a reasonable argument for any professional endeavor.
Again, appreciate your response. Please consider using the IDE or checking out Svelte in the future.
Best,
Arron
